Belfast.
A city I first encountered through a U2 song.
Long before I understood Bloody Sunday. Long before I learned there was also a Bloody Friday. Long before I knew the names Alec Reid and Harold Good, or how ordinary people would eventually help a deeply divided society imagine another future.

For the past few days I’ve simply been walking. Photographing. Listening.
Tomorrow I head south to join peacebuilders from around the world for a week of conversation, learning, and reflection.
I’m reminded again that places are always more complicated—and more beautiful—than the stories we inherit about them.
More to come.
